• Public consultation and Constant
Communication in Four Construction Projects and the Continuity
of Service Program.
Extensive communciations processes and public consultation
were undertaken initially preparing the Environmental
Impact Assessments (EIA’s) for the construction
process on the following projects: Pilcomayo River Multiple
Crossing, Saipurú Compression Station, Taquiperenda
Compression Station and the 28-Km Loop. We also conducted
an extensive public consultation process at national level
regarding our continuity of service program.
We held more than 160 public consultation meetings in
more than 80 communities, with 21 national NGO’s,
8 international NGO’s, 6 TCO’s (Original Peoples
Community Lands), 2 large indigenous organizations, and
more than 60 government and private sector institutions.
In addition to the information meetings and presentations
suitable to each group, we also published interdisciplinary
informative material in Spanish and Guaraní.
