The company receives a great quantity and variety of requests from different communities and groups in the entire country. They vary from requests for support to some activity or specific event, support to development projects of diverse nature, and also requests for support to large projects such as the construction of road infrastructure, among others.

Regrettably, because the main activity of the company is the transport of hydrocarbons, it is not possible to assist all of them and especially we cannot help on large projects since they usually correspond to other local, regional and/or national institutions.

Therefore, all the requests being received are registered and they undergo a careful analysis in application of the procedures and internal criteria that have been developed to ensure fair and coherent treatment of all of them. The criteria applied include being a neighbouring community, necessity, sustainability, local participation and communal benefit, while respecting and valuing the functions and responsibilities of the other stakeholders of sustainable development, mainly the community itself, the corresponding municipal government, NGOs and other civil society groups.

Complaints are investigated as soon as possible and the necessary measures are taken to attend or correct the problem when it corresponds.
