Considering that a most of our pipeline and station operation and maintenance work is carried out in the field, along approximately 6,000 km of pipeline, by our operational staff and contractors, it is here where most contact is generated between the company and the populations that live close to the pipeline network.

Looking to ensure that the relationship between the company, contractors and neighbouring populations is harmonious, reciprocal and of mutual respect, courses with a social content are periodically implemented for Transredes S.A. technical staff and Contractors.

This formal training is reinforced with visits and informal training in the campsites and stations in the field, and with operative support in social topics linked to everyday work as described in the following example

• Social induction for new workers.

To ensure that the entire personnel acts with social awareness in everyday tasks and knows the social management system, social training courses are given to all new personnel that enter the company
