The TRANSREDES Sustainable Development Policy provides
a systematic approach with regards to Safety, Occupational
Health, the Environment, and our Relations with stakeholders.
Under this concept the minimum elements of this systematic
approach have been established so as to identify the critical
operations and facilities, and additionally, to have documented
evidence that the risks have been reduced to as low as
reasonably practicable (ALARP) levels.
Critical operations and facilities are those in which
there are potential risks associated to Health, Safety,
Environment and Social, as well as possible impacts to
the Company’s reputation. On this regard, TRASNREDES
uses its Risk Assessment Matrix (Fig. 1) included in the
Integrated Management System in order to furnish a better
demarcation of those parts of the Company that require
documented evidence that the risks were reduced to ALARP
levels. All the activities with risks located in the yellow
and red zones require the foregoing documentation which
involves establishing Control Measures for the Threats
and Recovery Measures with the effect of avoiding Undesirable
Events such as accidents, for example.
On this regard every Transredes operation (pumping and
compression stations, workshops, offices, pipelines, warehouses,
engineering projects, etc), and those of its Contractors,
have access to their respective HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Case Book based on the results of the Health,
Safety, Environmental and Social Risk Assessments for
the purpose of demonstrating the control and commitment
of the Senior Staff regarding the involvement and establishment
of measures that assure activities and operations with
controlled risks.

LOW RISK: Manage to obtain continuous improvement
MEDIUM RISK: Incorporate risk reduction
measures
HIGH RISK: Intolerable. Requires
immediate control measures.
*PTH: Permanent Total Handicap
This analysis undertaken in TRANSREDES is an integrating process. It requires
the participation of different operating sectors in the
company, thereby balancing the impacts on the organization
produced by one given activity.
Transredes udertakes all its activities completely involving and commiting itself
on issues related to occupational health and safety of
its employees and contractors, applying to that effect,
methods which, in addition to protecting the environment,
establish an effective and cooperative relationship with
our stakeholders.
