We operate a network of
nearly 6,000 kilometers of pipelines transporting natural
gas and liquid hydrocarbons (crude petroleum, LPG, surplus
refinery products, and condensates). Our gas and oil pipeline
system passes through
7 departments, more than 89 municipal districts and approximately
600 communities reaching the export markets of Brazil,
Chile and Argentina.
Currently, we are the owners and operators of more than
3,000 kilometers of gas pipelines and 2,700 kilometers of
liquids pipelines. Furthermore, we provide operations and
maintenance services to Gas TransBoliviano S.A. and GasOriente
Boliviano Ltda. We administer the YPFB Marine Export Terminal
in Arica Chile. Transredes owns 51% of Gas TransBoliviano
S.A. (GTB), who in turn is the owner of the Bolivia-Brazil
Gas Pipeline.
We transport natural gas to our internal domestic market
and to the exportation market in Brazil. We also transport
crude petroleum to supply the local market and
export surplus products via Arica, Chile. In addition
we transport Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and natural
gasoline for the internal market.
Transredes' Board of Directors consists of seven members: five
directors who represent TR Holdings Ltd, a joint-venture partnership
between Prisma Energy Transport Holdings Ltd. and Shell Gas (Latin America) B.V. and two directors who represent
the people of Bolivia through the Bolivian AFP`s (the
Pension Fund Administrators of Bolivia).
