We at Transredes conduct our business activities taking
into account the self determination of the governments
we interact with and without affecting their legitimacy.
We comply with all the laws, rules, and regulations that
govern our activities, and go beyond implementing the
best practices across our business.
We sustain constructive and respectful relations with
all levels of the Bolivian State, and participate, whenever
possible, in strategic alliances that seek to articulate
sustainable solutions on priority issues of mutual interest.
We maintain open and fluid communications with local,
departmental, national, and international officials, seeking
to maximize the value of our services and minimize the
external risks.

- To establish and maintain a bridge of trust in the relations
with the Bolivian State and others at International Level.
- To identify and analyze public interest issues in the
State that impact or might have an impact on Transredes.
- To contribute to the development of sustainable programs
and policies for the sector and for Bolivia.
- To upport the different areas in Transredes with a strategic
framework and analysis of the Company’s relations
with different stakeholders within Government

- To advise the President of TRANSREDES, providing a analysis
of the political scenarios and projections.
- To facilitate access to information in the political
arena that is of priority interest for decision making
in the Company
- To develop preventive and defensive barriers to minimize
the risks outside the Company and to maximize the value
of our services.
- To strengthen the integration and compatibility of Company–Society–State
- To ensure coherence and consistency in public dialogue
and speech using consistent lines of communication


The
Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEDES –
from the Spanish Consejo Empresarial para el Desarrollo
Sostenible) is a non-profit foundation created at TRANSREDES
request.
The CEDES-BOLIVIA Foundation is a member of the worldwide
World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
Its Vision:
To contribute towards producing a worthy and
dignified lifestyle for Bolivians, creating current and
future opportunities to reduce poverty.
Its Mission:
To develop a network of competitive companies
whose aim is a balanced integration of Economic, Social,
and Environmental issues.
Its Objectives:
- To assume the commitment to sustainable development
as a undeniable commitment for the future of the country.
- To undertake its activites and those of the member companies
in harmony with the social, economic, and environmental
arenas.
- Contribute towards improving the quality of life, facilitating
multiple alliances between private enterprise, government
and civil society.

- Environmental management and integrating Responsibility
with Stakeholders and Economic Well-being.

The
Sustainable Safety Networks (RSS-initials from the Spanish
Redes Sostenibles de Seguridad) is a strategic alliance
between private enterprise, civil society and the State.
Its Vision:
To contribute to a better quality of life
in the Municipal Districts of Bolivia.
Its Mission:
To integrate economic performance, responsibility
to stakeholders, and the environment, through quality,
health, and safety systems for the benefit of the communities.
Its Objectives:
- To promote and support sustainable development, facilitating
municipal districts access to the non-refundable financing
supplied by the State so that while implementing their
projects they can build competence by identifying sustainable
development concepts and ethics with regards to the community.
- To support the development of municipal administration
capacity, by means of technical advice during to the different
stages of a project.
Its Partners are:
The Sole Funding Board (DUF–from the Spanish Directorio
Único de Fondos), the agency that defines institutional
policies, that coordinates, regulates and supervises the
Fondo Nacional de Inversión Productiva y Social
(FPS) [National Fund for Social and Productive Investment]
and the Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Regional (FNDR) [National
Fund for Regional Development]; the Bolivian Society of
Engineers (SIB), a non-profit association representing
the professional engineers of Bolivia; and TRANSREDES,
the hydrocarbons transportation company in Bolivia.
The association conducts its business activities in accordance
with the Sustainable Development Policy. It administers
its risks by means of Quality, Health Performance, Safety
and Environment Systems.

This is a strategic alliance between TRANSREDES and the
Andrés Bello Agreement for the Development of a
Competence Building Program on Pubic Policy
Its Vision:
To contribute to a the National Plan on Public Policy
in Bolivia.
Its Mission:
: To provide training on Public Policy for Government
and in civil society employees in Bolivia promoting sustainable
development as a result of the synergy between private
enterprise, society, and the State.
Its Objectives:
- To improve the qualifications of leaders in local government,
agents in productive enterprise, and key factors in civil
society.
- To stimulate debate on the strategy of territorial development
clarifying the role of the agents who are committed to
comply with their social mission favoring a more competitive
social insertion in the regional integration process.
- To facilitate better methods for establishing suitable
communications between government agents, private enterprise,
and civil society to stimulate a competitive environment
and a solution to the conflicts using proven methods.
