TRANSREDES will relate openly and honestly with its customers, financing entities, partners in enterprise, and other associates. We are committed to providing them with world-class service, identifying and responding proactively to their needs.

We manage our relations with our stakeholders in such a way so as to minimize the risks associated to our activity while maximizing the value of our services. Under this premise we have created a network to strengthen business – the FRE (from the Spanish “Fortalecimiento Red Empresarial”)– through which a series of measures, events, information bulletins, improve and consolidate the relationships between different stakeholders. Examples of this program:

Games have become instruments for helping and solidarity. That is the orientation that Transredes' and other companies in the oil and telecommunication sectors have imposed with a sports golf contest that is called “Let's Play for Bolivia ” .

The “Let's Play for Bolivia Foundation” emerged from this inter-company organization formed by Transredes, Gas TransBoliviano, Bolser, and Entel, a non-profit organization that was crated in this city at the beginning of 2002.

Its efforts are concentrated on organizing sports events and other recreational activities on the business level in order to collect funds to give them to shelters dedicated to caring for and developing children and adolescents throughout the country.

The Foundation recently gave a USD 20,000 donation to the Teresa de los Andes shelter, money that will be invested in enlarging and purchasing equipment to increase the bakery of this center for rehabilitation and caring for children with severe mental disorders.

OSI ( Operation Smile International ) is a private, non-profit organization that provides free medical services of plastic and reconstructive surgery for children and youth who have facial malformations and deformations in developing countries and in the United States . Transredes S.A. supports this humanitarian work by facilitating their transportation, giving them lodging and providing board for the children who require this type of specialized medical attention.

This year 48 patients, between children and adolescents who reside in towns that are near Transredes' oil and gas pipeline network, will benefit from the surgeries that will allow them to show smiles on what used to be leporine lips and cleft palates. The company paid all the traveling expenses for the beneficiaries and their companions, who are generally the children's parents.

OSI, founded in 1982 by plastic surgeon William Magee and his wife Kathleen, presently works in 26 countries, amongst them, Bolivia . During their 23 year of philanthropic services they have taken care of over 60,000 children and adolescents, a movement meaning the participation of 29,000 volunteers and training 10,000 medical professionals.

The Operation Smile Foundation began to work in Bolivia in 1999, in the city of Cochabamba . Two years later it did the same in Santa Cruz . All the services for the patients are completely free and, up to this year, 7 missions have been carried out in which 909 patients in the whole country have been seen, helping to give them their smiles, and mainly their self-esteem, back.

An inter-institutional agreement between Transredes S.A and the Private University of Santa Cruz (UPSA) signed in December 2004 was the cause of what was called the “Network of Dynamic Expression” , a program to form leaders that has over 2000 members who participate on a weekly basis, interacting in seminars and specialized forums in which the latest topics that contribute towards the country's and region's development are addressed.

Its Mission is: “To be a space for training and discussing the thoughts of young professionals, potential leaders of opinion, who want to responsibly, openly, and publicly express their opinions with respect to the world's, country's and regions' problems”.

The Network of Dynamic Expression has defined the establishment of the following values as its communications parameters amongst its public: ethics, dialogue, transparency, pro-activity, professionalism, and credibility. From May 11 – 13 th this program was presented to all the participants in the European Union's Fair, which was held on the Hotel Los Tajibos' property.

The Network's members are young professionals who, amongst other things, work in different oil companies, communication media, foundations, service companies, and higher education institutions.
